About Us

We fell in love with Australian Shepherds about 25 years ago when we purchased our first as a pet for our, then, 10 year-old daughter. Comet was amazing. She was inherently loyal, intelligent, and connected. There were characteristics about her that were instinctive. For instance, she would sleep in the upstairs hallway with my children's bedrooms behind her. 

Eventually we entered the world of conformation competition and have done remarkably well for our small kennel roots. Rocky, Witsend's River Rogue was a USAA Specialty Winner's Dog at 20 months old and an AKC Grand Champion at 24 months.
